DESCRIPTION

The inhabitants of London are being enslaved by an all-seeing surveillance state, a corrupt private military business rules the streets, and a strong criminal syndicate preys on the defenseless in the near future. Your ability to assemble a resistance and fight back will determine the fate of London.

Watch Dogs: Legion is a 2020 action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. It is the third installment in the Watch Dogs franchise and the follow-up to Watch Dogs 2 from 2016.

Watch Dogs: Legion is a third-person action-adventure game set in an open environment based in London, which may be explored on foot, by car, or by fast-traveling via the city's subway stations. Westminster, Wandsworth, Lambeth, Southwark, Camden, Islington, Hackney, and Tower Hamlets, as well as the City of London, are all featured in the game.

The game consists of several missions, including those that develop the storyline, liberation missions focused at freeing the city's boroughs featured in the setting, recruitment missions for new playable characters, and numerous side activities, with the ability to freely follow a mission or activity, or discover the city for secrets and collectibles.

The goals of each mission can be accomplished in one of several ways: open-combat with a range of weapons; stealth with the environment to prevent detection and track enemy patterns, or hacking with any hackable object to take down enemies with traps or distractions while attempting to complete your objectives.

Combat consists of a combination of gunfights and hand-to-hand combat techniques, with enemies employing various tactics based on how you perform in combat.

Unlike previous games, Legion allows you to play as numerous characters, each of whom may be recruited from various locations across the game's world. While you must pick a character after the prologue chapter, you can acquire others after completing the game's first main missions from anywhere in the game's world, even those serving with hostile factions.

Based on their background, each character that may be recruited has various features and abilities. When played with, operatives acquire experience, allowing them to earn extra skills and abilities to help them progress, as well as the opportunity to give further upgrades for all characters by using tech points on weapon and gadget upgrades. You may add special NPCs known as Prestige Operatives to your roster in addition to standard recruitable NPCs. These one-of-a-kind characters have superior weapons and acquire access to more powerful perks as their level rises, compared to normal operatives.

The game's online part enables four-player cooperative gameplay, allowing the single-player and multiplayer modes to share progress.

You may freely explore London and recruit additional operatives to your squad, exactly like in the single-player mode; however, rather than completing short objectives for each character, you do so by spending Influence, an in-game currency. Influence is also needed to unlock gadgets and character enhancements, and it may be acquired by completing missions and objectives, purchased with real-world money from the in-game store, or found scattered throughout the world.

To offer new content to Watch Dogs: Legion Online, the game takes a seasonal strategy. A unique route with multiple rewards is introduced with each season. You collect experience points and rank up as you perform missions and other activities, unlocking the next prize on the roadmap.

How to play

Since the events of Watch Dogs 2, technology has significantly changed due to an acceleration of automation and artificial intelligence, which has successfully benefited Britain's economy at the expense of several blue and white collar jobs, with the Pound Sterling having been overtaken and undermined by the cryptocurrency 'ET0,' which has almost entirely replaced the pound within London.

The game revolves around DedSec, a hacking organization with branches all around the world that fights authoritative regimes and groups that exploit ctOS for their own selfish ends at the cost of ordinary individuals. Zero Day, a renegade hacking organization that blames DedSec for a series of terrorist bombs, is one of their major enemies.

Watch Dogs: Legion is divided into eight chapters, each of which is further divided into many missions. In the game, there are 37 main storyline missions.

Hard Reset

Watch Dogs: Legion is an ambitious game. You may play as anyone from anywhere in the globe and recruit members to your hacking group, DedSec. The difficulty of Watch Dogs: Legion rests in that recruiting system, which poses the question of which characters you want to get first, what kind of abilities you want, how you want to play, and much more.

As a result, newcomers may be overwhelmed by the variety of options available in Legion's enormous open world. So, here are a few tips to help you get the most out of Watch Dogs Legion.

● Complete missions before exploring

You might be tempted to wander out, see the iconic places, and gather as many tech points and masks as you can with such a large map to discover.

If you focus on the storyline mission first, you'll be taken to the most significant places and forced to infiltrate them right away, giving you the opportunity to collect all of the masks, tech points, and other items. If you do it in open play, you'll have to re-infiltrate the location when the storyline gets you there later. After you've completed the storyline, go back and visit any unfinished location.

● A Spiderbot is a must

While all collectibles will display on the map, whether it's the important tech points or the lore-filled audio logs, actually picking them up is easier said than done. They typically appear to be hidden behind walls or underground, with no clear way to get to them.

This is where the Spiderbot comes in. Investigate the whole area with your eight-legged robot companion, since there's a good possibility there'll be a hidden entrance within. The smaller drones you can hijack can visit similar regions, but they can only scan/hack objects and cannot pick up collectibles.

● Avoid combat whenever it's possible

Despite how much fun it may be to electrocute guards and fire weapons at enemies, the intricate network of connections that exists in Legion makes it unwise to approach with guns blazing. You should try to infiltrate your target sites as quietly as possible to avoid getting noticed.

After all, how players treat other NPCs may influence how their own Operatives or potential recruits treat them. Saving someone's contact information, for example, can persuade them to join the cause. Similarly, hurting a contact that someone cares about might lead to unpleasant experiences.
