DESCRIPTION

Slash your way into becoming a master of Fruit Ninja in Fruit Ninja 2, but you can also do some gardening on the side.

Fruit Ninja 2 is easy to play,: use your finger to slash fruits into half to earn points. Be careful, if you hit a purple bomb you will lose points. The fruits can appear from either side or below the screen. The music in the game makes you feel like you are in a Japanese dojo, and it makes you feel excited about becoming a fruit ninja. When you first start, the ninja sensei will present you with a common blade. The only game available to you is the arcade mode at the beginner level. Slash your way to collect coins and experience points to level up and unlock more playable modes.

You slash fruits that pop up onto the screen by swiping your blade, and there is a combo bonus if you hit them at one go. You need to slash at least 3 fruits in one swipe to qualify for a combo. A combo doubles the points and helps you reach blitz mode. When you manage to slice 8 fruits in 3 seconds, the game enters a special blitz mode when you are playing arcade mode or Fruit Ninja Frenzy. There are 6 types of blitz level: combo, great, awesome, super, hyper and unbelievable. To gain the blitz bonus, continue to slice 8 fruits into combo. However, if you hit a bomb, the biltz instantly ends. It will also end if you fail to slice 8 fruits in 3 seconds. Once you reach Unbelievable Blitz, you will gain 30 points extra in the game. You can gain Blitz multiple times in each game, which will activate every time you meet the requirements.

In Arcade mode, you get 1 minute to gain as many points as you can. Once the countdown finishes, you will receive 3 point bonuses. There are a few ways you can gain bonus points. You can gain bonus points from either hitting all the bombs or avoiding all the bombs. More common bonuses are tasty fruit, fruit mix and fruit salad if you slash everything fruit in sight. You can get a special Nothing but Berry bonus by only cutting up strawberries. The Arcade mode is also the place to be to collect experience points to level up and collect coins.

Once you reach level 3, you unlock Classic and Zen mode in the Events section. These are the 2 original modes in Fruit Ninja. In Classic Mode, you can keep earning points until you miss slicing 3 fruits, or when you hit a red bomb. In Zen Mode, there are no bombs, and it is a peaceful exercise of slashing fruits for 90 seconds. At level 4, you can compete with strangers online via the multiplayer League. When you reach the League, your blade and power-ups become important. In the Events section, you can play other modes such as Minigame Mix. The Minigame changes every few days, and winning the game earns you a box.

How to play

Boxes contain special items like blades, power-ups, taunts, and coins. In Fruit Ninja 2, the boxes are cube shape of watermelon, pineapple, dragon fruit and cosmic berry. Your blades and power-ups are in the Armory, where you can equip and use in the Leagues. Sometimes, the boxes contain shards of special blades that deliver special status in the game, which will help you win in multiplayer. When you reach level 7, the garden opens and you can finally plant and harvest plants to gain bonus items. There are plants that give you experience points, blade shards. event tickets, gems and special loots.

You can also find Powerups by reaching certain scores in the event section, the scores accumulate and you will receive rewards for being committed to the fruit ninja training. Equip Powerups and Blades to win Leagues and advance to the next level. League lasts for 45 days, and you earn extra rewards by winning against your opponent. There are six platforms you can meet your opponents on: Mount Magma, Sensei's Glade, The Summit, Kelrose Gate, Wild's Edge, Broken Melon Cave. These platforms are randomly selected as the game finds a suitable opponent in the Fruit Ninja 2 world.

You can play against your own friend by tapping on the vs Friend button. Create a room to host your friend or join a room to compete against each other to see who is the best at slicing up fruit. When you are playing against someone else, be sure to know which colour you are in the game. At the bottom of the screen, there are little arrows telling you which colour fruit will spawn up next. If you slash the wrong coloured fruit, you will not gain points. Aim to slice fruit that flashes your colour or white bordered ones to gain points. In the League, your choice of blade and booster can affect the outcome of the game.

In the Arcade+ mode, have fun by experiencing various bonus bananas and random bombs. Before the game starts, the game shows you the 3 types of bananas that are available during the game, as well as the bomb that you should avoid. Typical bombs in Arcade+ are shrink bombs that shrink the fruits for a few seconds, or ghost bombs that render your fruit invisible. These bombs will not take away any points, but hitting them will clear the board and you will not gain any points. To avoid a bomb, aim to do shorter strokes so you can quickly lift your finger up to avoid hitting the bomb.

There are many types of bananas in Fruit Ninja 2: frenzy, molten, freeze, magnet, bouncy etc. Make slashing bananas your priority, because they help you score more points in the game. For example, freezing banana will freeze the timer for a few seconds and the fruits will fall down slower. Frenzy banana will generate a lot of fruits at once, so you can start making Blitzes for higher score. If you hit a bomb after you slice a banana, the bonus gets blown away with the fruit.

Fruit Ninja 2 is a fun finger-slashing game that is for everyone. Now, you can even play with a friend and see who's the better Fruit Ninja! There is so much more to do with special events and different modes to make things more interesting.
