When you reach the target number of stars to unlock a level, the count will freeze, and you have to start collecting fresh from the next level.

Each level Unique The Doodle Jump 2 has unique themes, soundscapes, and character designs. The Classic Doodle jump can be seen replicated in the first level, while from there onwards, they differ significantly. The doodles are dressed differently for each level. Most levels include some unique challenges, while the monster types for each level are generally the same.

Before getting started on this insanely addictive game, you need to learn the control mechanism of this game. You start from the beginning in each game as the game does not have levels. 

 To open the main menu, tap “Doodle Jump.”It will let you look at the game options, the store, and score rankings. From the Options tab, you can have a look at the settings. The default settings will be appropriate for you unless you want it to connect to Facebook or turn off the sound effects. Before starting the game, you’ll see a cartoon strip at the bottom of the screen. Swipe this to the side to choose the theme(world).

Game Options Whether you want to play alone or with your friends or family, The Doodle Jump2 comes with both options. You can tap “Play” from the main menu to start playing as a single player. For multiplayer mode, tap and hold down “Multiplayer” and see how you beat your opponent to the top. But this, multiplayer option is not available in all versions of Doodle Jump. If you do not see this mode, it might be unavailable for your device.

Controlling the Doodler Your Doodler goes higher by jumping from one platform to another. Controlling the Doodle Guy is not an uphill task. Some platforms move from side to side or up and down, while most do not move. As they are not evenly spaced, you need to move your Doodler by tilting your device toward left or right as he jumps. If you don’t see any platform options or want to bypass an obstacle, tilt your device far enough to one side. Your Doodler Guy will leave the screen and return on the other side. If you fail to jump on a platform and there is no one below to land on, your Doodler will get into freefall ending the game.

Platforms and Monsters Since the game comes with different themes, each has a different set of platforms. If you come across a yellow platform, you need to rush your Doodler through it, Because they explode when they turn red.

While you enjoy the springy journey with the Doodle Guy, be vigilant about the enemies. Because once you hit them, the game is over. You may initially get around these monsters. But, this might get harder with each new level. Jump on them in Mario-style or tap the screen in the direction you want to aim to shoot them.

When you hear the enemy noise, tap under your Doodler, and you’ll be shooting straight up, which would help clear out the monsters in your way. If you are more comfortable shooting straight up, you can turn off Directional Shooting by going into the “Options’ menu.

Special objects Want your Doodler to reach higher despite the presence of moving, disappearing, and exploding platforms? Some special objects in the game will help you get higher. These objects include super rockets, propeller caps, rockets (underwater theme and space theme only), spring sandals, and trampolines.

Explore different worlds The game gives your eyes a visual retreat since it features 11 different worlds. Apart from the regular stage, you have the option to explore the worlds like Rainforest, Christmas, Halloween, Space, Soccer, etc. All you need to do is go to the title screen and scroll your finger at the bottom, and you will be taking your Doodler to a different world.
