Sashay your way into the arms of the man of your dreams by doing Makeover Run

Makeover Run starts with your character crying and a bunch of girls laughing at her. You notice she has little puffs of green, stinky smoke around her. Once you swipe the screen, she will start walking forward. Along the walkway, there are clothes you can pick up for her. If you make the right decision, the girl will say wow and there will be a good sound effect. If you pick up clothing with a green stinky smoke around it, you will hear an error sound as your character wears the bad clothing that you just picked up. 

The walkway will have stairs and will be around 3 steps wide. Your goal is to navigate the walkway towards your dream man. Along the way, there will be men on the left side with a picture of what they want to see on you. If your character is wearing what they are looking for, they will follow you after whistling their admiration. Your followers are admiring your beauty, and they help you maintain your outfit throughout the way. 

You can also purchase followers with the hearts that you accumulated, and they are useful for many reasons. Your followers will protect you from the mud on the floor by putting their jacket over it for you to walk over. They will also block those pesky girls who are out to make your life miserable by making you feel less attractive. If there are dark rain clouds near your outfit, the follower will open an umbrella for you. Without your followers, stepping into muddy puddles or walking under rain clouds will make you less attractive. 

As you make your way towards the podium, where the man of your dreams is waiting with his entourage, you need to look your best. When you collect all the right parts for your outfit, you will sparkle and your gait more confident. Starting out, you will walk slowly with a slouch. Once you pick up the correct items, you will straighten up and look more confident. After the third correct item, your character walks slightly faster and finally sashays with her head held high towards the end of the line.

You can use hearts and gems to buy skins, which are new outfits you can wear while on your date. Some outfit use hearts as payment, more unique ones require gems. Once you buy them, you can select them to play on the floor for a level. They do not affect the endgame, but you can dress up as your favourite characters like Cleopatra and Cat woman. Some clothing requires real money to buy, but it will not make you more attractive to your man. 

The background music is has an upbeat rhythm, and they help you pace your girl. While the music does not change, every correct decision will have a happy enough effect like "wow" or whistling from your followers. If you picked up stinky old clothing, the game gives a sound effect of error and you will see red thumbs down flashing briefly.

Simply slide your girl from left to right as she walks towards the podium and collects desirable pieces of clothing on the way. Watch out for the items that your followers are looking for, and collect them before you arrive at their spot. If you are not wearing the item, the man will not follow you. This may affect the end, as the followers protect you from certain obstacles. 

When you walk up the stairs, there will be girls at the side waiting to block your way. If you do not have enough followers, one of them will succeed. Make sure you put on the items that your follower is looking for, so he can follow your girls as she walks down the aisle. Once the follower is behind you, they will not leave until they help you out. You will need about 5 followers to block the mean girls at the side. 

After a few levels, your outfit moves! They will either slide side to side or rotate in a circle. The game will place your ideal clothing next to the yucky one. Then, they will put more mean girls on the floor to stop you from looking glamourous. You will need to plan your way towards the outfit of your dreams, while leaving the old things on the floor where they belong. Invest in a few more followers: they cost 30 hearts each, but they will help you reach the man. 

Even if you pick up a dud item, you will still be able to kiss your dream guy at the end. But if you miss more than 2 items, he will reject you and leave you crying. The girls that taunted you at the start will be there to laugh at your misery. Fortunately, you see your nice clothing scattered a few times along the way as the level gets harder. You can save your image before the end, but it is still best to avoid picking up the wrong clothing. 

When you see keys on the floor, prioritize them before the gems. Collect 3 keys to unlock 3 treasure chests filled with hearts, gems or a special skin. Since hearts are important in the game for more followers, the keys will help you collect more hearts to meet the man of your dreams. Makeover Run is a straightforward game, easy to understand, but it will require your skill and concentration as you level up. Move away from the stinky old clothing and slide your way into the new ones, and you will be looking your best in no time. 

Once you sparkle and shine, sometimes there will be a camera icon on the floor. While it is unnecessary to touch it, the camera icon gives you a self- portrait of you in your beautiful outfit and a pose.
