DESCRIPTION

Lara Croft's journey from a scared young woman to a seasoned survivor is told in a new powerful and brutal origin story. Lara must strive to discover the terrible history of a forsaken island to escape its unrelenting hold, equipped only with raw instincts and the capacity to push past the limits of human endurance.

Tomb Raider is an action-adventure video game released in 2013 by Square Enix's European subsidiary. It was developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix's European subsidiary. It is the tenth main game in the Tomb Raider franchise and is a reboot of the series, serving as the first entry in the Survivor trilogy that recreates the origins of Lara Croft.

The third-person perspective is used in Tomb Raider. You play as Lara Croft, the protagonist of the franchise. The game employs a hub-and-spoke system that incorporates action-adventure, exploration, and survival aspects.

Base camps are discovered as the game advances, offering Lara a chance to craft new enhancements out of salvage objects. Lara can also use base camps to develop new skills in the skill system, which will allow her to explore new areas of the island. Fast travel between base camps will be accessible as well.

The usual method of locating keys to access certain sections has been altered in that obstacles in the way now require special equipment to overcome, such as explosives. For plot progression, key items must be gathered and returned to the characters that require them.

Footpaths, improvised or already-available zip lines, and climbable pathways can be used to travel between the camps and around the island. Most of Lara's moves have been brought over from previous games, with some changes made, such as the addition of stealth gameplay features.

Quick time events, such as removing a shard of metal and escaping a collapsing cave, come at periodic intervals all through the game, frequently at vital or fast-moving parts in the plot.

You may free-aim Lara's bow and the guns she managed to salvage, participate in close-quarter combat, and perform stealth kills in the game's combat, which is influenced by Naughty Dog's Uncharted series.

You have the ability to activate Survival Instinct, which highlights opponents, collectibles, and key objects in environment puzzles for you. The game also has RPG elements: as you progress through the game, you obtain experience points by performing certain actions and completing in-game challenges related to hunting, exploring, and combat: this allows you to upgrade your skills and abilities in specific ways, such as giving Lara more arrow and ammunition storage capacity and more.

Weapons can also be upgraded and customized using salvage found throughout the island. There is also a character progression element in the game: as you progress, you earn better gear, weapons, and equipment, though the appearance of most of these items is strongly related to story events. Furthermore, you can accomplish many side quests, roam the island, return to previous locations, and look for challenge tombs in addition to the main storyline.

How to play

The game is set on Yamatai, a fictional forgotten island off the coast of Japan in the Dragon's Triangle. Despite its reputation for ferocious storms and shipwrecks that litter its coastline, the island is shrouded in mystery.

The Solarii Brotherhood, a ruthless sect of criminals, mercenaries, and shipwreck survivors, dominates the island at the start of the game. The Solarii Brotherhood has formed its own civilization centered on Himiko worship, replete with a social structure and regulations, and the novel explores their actual purpose and ambitions.

You play as Lara Croft, a young and ambitious archaeology graduate whose beliefs about the site of Yamatai's ancient kingdom have persuaded the Nishimura family to support an expedition to find the kingdom and unravel its mysteries.

As with the newly de-aged Lara Croft, Tomb Raider players will confront a learning curve as they enter Crystal Dynamics' brave, rebooted universe. It's not that the reboot of the series is impossible; it's just that it's a very different beast. Tomb raiding becomes a secondary priority as now it is primarily for collectibles, and the emphasis changes to puzzle-solving via environmental traversal and fighting, with a lot of combat.

We will provide you with some tips that will help you enhance your survival skills as the most famous Lady Croft.

● Obtain as much experience as possible

This game has a leveling system set up that allows you to accumulate skill points. You can utilize those skill points to improve your skill tree. The majority of your experience will come from accomplishing the main story missions, but you can also gain it via completing extra tombs and/or challenges, as well as gathering all collectibles.

You can also get experience by hunting or scavenging. Some places have a lot of creatures running around, so killing everything you see or hear for the extra experience can be a good idea. Even if you visit a basecamp but do not allocate skill points, they will not be lost.

● Keep an eye for Salvage

To upgrade your weapons, you will require salvage, which you should seek out as soon as possible. To acquire as much as possible, explore every inch of every location. The majority of salvage can be collected via looting salvage crates scattered over the map, however, solving puzzles in hidden tombs will also provide a significant boost.

Salvage isn't the only way to improve Lara's gear. A large number of items will either be acquired by other AI or will be discovered by Lara. Aside from that, you'll need to thoroughly search each region.

● Skills to work on

You'll be able to level up various skill sets as Lara progresses through her adventure. Some will open up automatically, while others will open up as you progress and get more Hardened and experienced.

Fill up the Animal Instincts and Survivalist techniques when it comes to the Survivor skill tree. Arrow Retrieval, which gives you extra ammunition for your bow, Climber's Agility, which makes it simpler to work your way up surfaces, and Cartography, which opens up tomb entrances and areas to investigate, are all skill sets worth mastering.

● Upgrade your weapon of choice

When you're battling enemies later in the game, it's a good idea to upgrade your gear. You'll start with the Makeshift Bow, which you can level up by locating pieces in particular stages. You'll also have access to a variety of arrows, making the bow a versatile weapon.

It is important to improve the little features on each weapon when it comes to guns. It depends on what you want: more ammunition capacity, faster performance, or more damage. Your best strategy is to look through the upgrades accessible for each weapon and pick which ones you wish to choose to upgrade.
