Five Nights at Freddy's 3 is a survival horror game developed by Scott Cawthon, and you will find many features similar to the Five Nights at Freddy since it is the latest of this series. The new addition took place thirty years after the first game with the same horror-themed attraction. You will love the theme, gameplay, and surroundings. You will also play the role of a security guard, but there will be more challenges and mysteries you need to uncover to become a winner.
There will not be many differences in the gameplay, and your task is to keep an eye on animatronics and surroundings and protect yourself from any danger. Each night will last from 12 am to 6 am, and you will have a threat from one animatronic instead of many, and it is the difference between Five Nights at Freddy's 3 and Five Nights at Freddy's previous versions. Some animatronics will return from the last games as phantoms, but they cannot harm you. Their objective is to hinder all your efforts and make nights difficult for you.
The game will start in an action-packed and horror-themed attraction, Fazbear's Fright. You will find a Springtrap roaming, and you will have to observe the activities through two security cameras. You can use one camera to monitor the facility, including the corridors and rooms. However, you can check the second camera to observe the ventilation ductwork and track the movement of the Springtrap. You will have to check the cameras and the status of the operating systems. Whenever you notice any malfunction, you will have to reboot them.
The operating systems control audio devices and cameras, and when there is any problem with the system, you will experience difficulties. The cameras will enable you to monitor inside, and the audio set can lure Springtrap and keep it away from the cameras and ventilation. The ventilation system might stop functioning when animatronic jumpscares you, and some of them might damage the camera and audio. If these devices do not work, you will lose your vision, and you can imagine the outcome. However, if the Springtrap manages to enter the office and jumpscares you, the game will end. Hence, you will have to stop the Springtrap from entering the office, and it is possible when all your support systems are working fine.
The game will have five nights, and the challenges will be more towards the end. Once you complete five nights, it will unlock the Nightmare. You will find Nightmare more challenging, and you will have to play intelligently throughout to win the game. If you can complete the Nightmare night, you can unlock the cheat menu, and it will offer many options, including the increasing game difficulty level and making the animatronics aggressive. Also, you can decrease the length of the night and end the game fast.
One thing you will find the same in the Five Night at Freddy's series is murderous animatronics and a high level of difficulties with every passing night. In this version, you do not need to focus on saving electricity. Instead, you will have to protect the cameras and the ventilation system. Otherwise, Springtrap can enter your office and end the game.
You will have to make changes in your strategies while playing Five Nights at Freddy's 3. It is not about closing the door and saving electricity that you might have followed while playing the previous version. Now, you will have to act more promptly and intelligently. Your job is to focus on the environment more than the animatronics. Moreover, you had only one support system in the first game since the previous security guard was alone to share information about the activities of the animatronics and background. But you will have two people with you in this version. The first one is the Phone Dude, and the second one is an old employee of a different location. The objective is to ensure the functioning of the cameras and ventilation systems and prevent the Springtrap from entering the office. Here are a few tips you can consider to play safely and successfully.
Step One: Familiarize Yourself with the Game in the Night One The first night will be easy since the animatronics will not hurt you, and the responsibility will be less. Hence, you will have to observe your surroundings and know how things work. Observe the layout of every room and know the areas where Springtrap can hide and cause trouble. With a better idea of room layouts, you can act fast.
Step Two: Make Use of Supports You can use the play audio button and be watchful to the voice of the Phone Dude and the previous security instructor. The Springtrap can get attracted to the noise, and you will have to use the audio to lure Springtrap into different rooms and keep it away from you. However, you cannot use the audio frequently, and also, the Springtrap cannot hear from far, and if you use the audio when it is far, you will not get the impact, and you will waste one chance. Therefore, you will have to use the audio when the Springtrap is in the adjacent room.
Step Three: Never Forget About Vents You will find a small network of vents across, and many will have a connection close to the office. The vent network will enable the Springtrap to roam unexpectedly, and you cannot track it. You can seal vents when the Springtrap moves from one place to another, and if you secure the surrounding vent, the Springtrap will need more time to come back to its room. The objective is to distract the attention of the Springtrap and prevent it from entering the office.
Five Nights at Freddy's 3 is a fast-paced horror game. You will have to be watchful to play safely and win the game. You can follow all the above tricks to prevent Springtrap from entering your office. Enjoy the game and share some fun and actions to enable beginners to understand it more.
