DESCRIPTION

Sonic the Hedgehog has been on tv and in video games for as long as we can remember. Following the popularity of the Sonic Dash gaming app in 2013, it was just a matter of how long before the sequel was published. Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom now includes the Sonic Boom world and its characters while bringing new features to the formula.

Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom is an endless runner platform video game developed by SEGA HARDlight and published by Sega, exclusively for mobile devices, and is the sequel to Sonic Dash.

The game begins with a tutorial that explains the basics. If anything is unclear or you forget something during gameplay, you can always go back to the settings menu and try the tutorial again.

The main character is, of course, Sonic, but as you progress, you may unlock and play with any of the other characters. Sonic goes automatically, like in all endless runners, and you simply need to swipe left and right to change lanes, up to jump, and down to slide.

Up and down have a new role in Sonic Dash 2 which is to kill enemies. You may destroy an enemy by jumping and rolling into a ball if it is above you. When you slide with an adversary in front of you, the same thing happens. Of course, it only works with creatures, not inanimate stuff like rocks.

You must grab as many golden rings, red stars, blue orbs, and power ups as possible while sprinting. Rings are used to enhance characters, while red stars represent the game's currency. You may use them to resurrect your character if you lose, and also acquire tickets and unlock characters.

Orbs fill the dash bar, which you may then activate by double-tapping to destroy foes with more force and receive various awards, depending on the character you play.

There are also magnets, multipliers, and other items spread everywhere for you to collect. The most crucial power ups, however, are little sprites that appear every few hours and cannot be obtained in the game.

Each has a different color and special skill, such as Spark, which immediately revives you if you lose, or Legs, which extends your dashing by 10%. The sprites fly beside you as you run, but you must first activate them before beginning the game.

Giant wasps, spiky bombs, crabs, and a variety of other enemies appear, as well as rocks, trees, gaps to jump over, and more. If you fail to roll in time to kill them and instead crash with them, you will lose rings; however, if you lose all rings or are hit with trees or stones, it's game over.

There are a variety of Events and Missions in the game that will reward you with items if you successfully complete them. Events expire after a certain period of time, and you must select whether or not to participate, whereas missions are available at all times.

You must spend a Ticket to play, and a new one is accessible every few minutes, so if you run out, you will have to wait a bit before running again or using the store.

How to play

Sonic Dash 2 is an infinite runner, similar to the previous Sonic Dash game, which implies Sonic is doing what he does best: running. It's a delight for Sonic fans and Endless arcades fans alike, with better visuals and designs, new features, and the popular characters from the Sonic Boom series.

Sonic must race to capture the wicked Dr. Eggman, which is futile as you might expect given that we're talking about an endless runner, but that's the game's central topic.

Here are a few tips and hints that will help you run for as much as you could in Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom.

● You can change lanes in the middle of a jump

This may seem obvious but it's very helpful. If you're carrying rings in Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom, you can absorb attacks from enemies, but hitting a solid object will finish your run. It goes without saying that the longer you run, the more chances you have to hit things and enemies.

As a result, it's critical to create survival methods. Switching lanes in the middle of a leap is one strategy to ensure you remain alive for longer.

● Collect Rings When you're running, try to obtain Gold Rings as often as possible. If you hit a Mine, Spike, or Enemy, they'll keep you alive, but you'll lose the rings you were carrying, so restock as quickly as possible.Rings earned throughout each run may be used to purchase enhancements for your Characters and Sprites. A certain amount of Red Star Rings will be present on the track each day. Characters, Sprites, and Revives all require Red Star Rings, therefore it's worth visiting every day to collect them.

● Make use of sprites Sprites are collectible companions that may be equipped at any moment while running. Sprites deliver a range of bonuses, such as additional Revives, longer Dash times, more Power-ups, and more Rings. "One Use" sprites, as the name implies, are only used once, so ensure you equip them when they'll be most useful. There's no need to ever run without "Forever" Sprites because they may be utilized as many times as you like.

The first equip slot is free when you initially acquire Sprites, but it's important to unlock some other two slots as soon as possible to get the most out of the perks they provide.

● Don't forget about events Missions are a fantastic way to earn rewards, but Events are the way to go if you want a chance at the truly large prizes. Sonic Dash 2 includes timed events that provide rings, experience, red rings, and even sprites, among other things. It's worth finishing a couple if you have some spare time.

By tapping the Events button on the Main Menu and then selecting from the list of what's presently live, you may access Events. Most Events also have leaderboards, allowing you to continue competing with other players for the top-tier prizes after completing the main goal.
