If you want to revive scary, lonely nights once again so that you want to relive your childhood and fight back against what you feared most, the Five Nights at Freddy's 4 is the video game that you can't afford to miss. It is the last version of the popular horror-survival game that will take you back to your childhood to experience something different. 

However, this time around, you don't have to fight with anyone. Rather, terror has managed to get right into your comfort zone. While players have enjoyed every bit of the previous three versions, the fourth takes the game to another level.

According to the game's description, you don't have to deal with eerie activities while being a security guard unlike the previous versions of this amazing video game. Rather, the new game allows you to experience a different circumstance that takes place in a child's bedroom. 

This is the place where Freddy Fazbear and the crew is responsible for the things that happen throughout the night. Moreover, with only a flashlight to save you from the shadows, you have to make it through the night until morning. In the meantime, you have to dodge creatures in the closet, halls, and even under your bed.

The environment of the room is very much different from what you have experienced in other versions of the game. There is no ventilation, no camera system, or no limited power supply. You got three doors to interact with and a bed behind you. 

The concept of the game is to keep the animatronics away from the bedroom that somehow got into the house and provide them with the obligatory jump scare. You need to press the LB button and that will take you to the door. When you reach a door, you can see text appearing that instructs you what to do next. 

When you hear breathing, hold the door and wait until the animatronics leave the area. After that, you can turn on the flashlight to see if there is anything in the corridor. The same thing applies to the right and left door where you will encounter Nightmare Chica and nightmare Bonnie as they make their appearances. 

The third door leads to the closet where you get to see Nightmare Foxy that appears and hides at the same time. Pointing a flashlight at him forces him to go deeper into the closet. That way, you can keep an eye on him.

The bed is the last area that you need to check. However, it's a bit awkward to get accustomed to the controller. You have to pull down the stick on your left and have to press LB so that you can look behind. As the night progresses, phantoms of Freddy tend to appear on the bed. 

In addition, when the phantoms reach their maximum length, they turn the stuffed toy on the bed into Freddy, and finally, he will attack you. However, pointing the flashlight at the phantoms drives them away.

1. The first night

Although Night 1 appears easy, you may still die. Hence, you should understand everything about the controls. The first thing that you need to consider is the noises, especially the footsteps. So, ignore other noises such as a dog barking. When you hear something toward the door, ensure that you hold it tight rather than tapping on it. 

After a few seconds, turn on the flashlight to find out if there is someone in the closet or hallway. If you don't listen and simply turn the flashlight on, the creature might pounce on you and that's the end. While the closet should be safe for the first two nights, make sure to check Freddy Fazbear on your bed or you will die in no time.

2. The second night

Although you can expect to see a lot more animatronics, keep on checking each door. However, listen to the noises rather than run around. So, if you hear noises that come from the kitchen, close the door on the left, or else you may get attacked. 

Besides, your flashlight will start blinking whenever Nightmare Foxy is around. Therefore, when you see the closet door moving, it is a sure sign that Nightmare Foxy is on the move. Also, check on him with the flashlight frequently and keep the doors shut. That way, he won't jump and kill you.

3. The third night

When you experience a countless number of attacks while you try to survive night 2, you will feel that the game is starting to get even worse. To add to your excitement, the animatronics are everywhere by night 3. What's terrifying is that Nightmare Foxy became much more vicious this time around. 

Furthermore, you need to check the closet more often on night 3 because the timer is quick compared to Night 2. As such, you will hear more footsteps on night 3. Hence, alternate between your bed and closet to keep an eye on him. 

4. The fourth night

If you have reached this part, it means that you are brave enough. However, it's time to proceed but with much caution. The only way to survive night 4 is to alternate your position between the right and left doors for Nightmare Chica and Bonnie. 

Also, you need to check the bed regularly. In addition, you have to keep Nightmare Foxy from entering the room as long as you can. Keep the closet door close to keep Foxy contained. 

5. The fifth night

The only thing that you need to worry about is Nightmare Fredbear. You can recognize him by his satanic laughter. To survive the night, close the doors whenever you hear him. While Fredbear won't jump scared when you put a flashlight on him, a delayed response will get you.
